Typical Peoria Weather

So we haven't had snow for months and then overnight on Saturday we got dumped with about 4 inches of snow. It was a winter wonderland when we woke up but by that afternoon and the following day it was pretty much gone. Crazy Peoria weather. The snow never sticks around too long thank goodness!



It was such a heavy snow as you can see. This branch was hanging so low it touched the ground.

Our backyard is always a popular place for deer to gather. Sometimes they get pretty close to the house.

Probably one of the only pictures on this blog without Isaac in it! Ha, ha!

Belly Laughing

In this video you'll hear Dave talking on the phone in the background, but Isaac was in such a fun mood, I just had to record him for a bit. He gets so excited about the little things :) Sometimes, he'll just look at Dave and start smiling. It's pretty cute.

Just a Swingin'

So this was Isaac's second time in a swing at the park! He has such a somber look but I think he is still taking it all in. He really hasn't been outside much so it's still a new world to him. It's fun to see him look around at everything.



I like this one... it looks like he is deep in thought.

Video Test

Here's a little video I recorded from our digital camera. Thought I'd test out the quality. Isaac was in a pretty silly mood as you will see here. He was laughing pretty hard at nothing. :)

Isaac was in the office with me playing on his little playmat. I turned around and next thing I know he found a way to get himself under the mat! Funny!



I thought this look was hilarious. He looks so proper.

Rubber Ducky, You're the One!

The other day we got Isaac's ducky tub out for the first time. We decided it was time to move to the bathroom instead of always doing his bath on the island in the kitchen. He really liked his new tub and enjoyed playing with his rubber ducky. He had fun splashing too and we liked the fact that it didn't get all over the kitchen floor :)

7 Month Birthday / St. Patrick's Day!

Isaac turned 7 months today on St. Patrick's Day! Just for the record, Isaac was wearing green earlier in the day but we had to change :) It was beautiful here in Peoria! We made it to 75 degrees! Hello Spring Fever! We went for a nice long walk through some trails in our neighborhood that afternoon which was so nice.

It was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a walk. This was Isaac's first time facing forward in his stroller! He really liked it even though this picture doesn't show him being real happy :)

Yummy Feet

So lately, Isaac has been really interested in his feet. So much that he likes to put them in his mouth. It started when we were changing his diaper while he was lying on his back, but now, as these pictures will show, he will attack them when he is sitting up. He'll fall forward out of nowhere and start sucking on his feet. Funny guy!
